Once for all – a love story

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. (John 1:1-2)

These are the opening words of a new book that Arab World Media is publishing in partnership with South African artist Alida Bothma. The book is called Once for All. Beautifully illustrated, and bilingual in Arabic and English, it recounts the life of Jesus and the events that led up to his crucifixion and resurrection.

The article on Sacrifice reflects so vividly that Easter has no meaning for Muslims of the Arab world. All that we celebrate at this time of year – the hope in Christ, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection, and life everlasting – is so difficult to communicate to Muslims, yet so important. The aim of this book is to take us one step further on the journey of explaining to Muslims what Jesus has done for each one of us.

Arab World Media will be distributing Once for All online over the Easter period. By next year, it will be available in hard copy. Workers will be able to use it as a way of sharing the most significant and precious truths of the gospel with their Arab friends. It is our prayer that through this book Muslims will be drawn to the Lord who, by his death and resurrection, gives eternal hope once for all to those who strive so hard to earn the Lord’s forgiveness!

All artwork in the book has been donated free of charge, and the text and translation have been done as part of Arab World Media’s ongoing ministry. But we need your help to make it accessible for Muslims in the Arab world. For $50 (£30) we can provide 50 books ($1 / book). The main cost is for online advertising and the IT infrastructure that supports our online ministry.

Please consider giving a gift of hope this Easter.

You can give online or visit your nearest Pioneers website for more information on how to give.

I’m also interested in purchasing the books for use with Arabic speaking Muslims in Canada. How can I purchase these as a resource for diaspora Muslims?
