Arab World Media's Arabic ministry website Maarifa is a strategic initiative to proclaim the gospel and engage Muslim seekers through the internet and new forms of media, including social media and mobile technology.

 

Launched in January 2008, this site is changing the landscape of Christian media in the Arab world, introducing new ways of engaging, evangelizing and discipling people. Since launch we have introduced and developed a new mentored e-learning initiative for online discipleship; a weekly video blog and chat room; an online magazine focusing on life issues; a number of audio productions to address particular spiritual and emotional needs like war, hatred, forgiveness; an SMS/ MMS ministry and a multitude of other things. One strong drive has been an aggressive advertising campaign.

Released almost two years ago, the film has now been made available for download on mobile phone. With thousands of Gulf Arabs accessing the internet through mobile devices, this is an important development.   Pray that many in the Gulf would watch this film and learn that there are Christians in their own nations.
