" Pray for Yemen today. The following, written by a Pioneers couple, is very helpful...
Â
You've probably heard of the violent clashes that have been going on in the capital, Sana'a, over the past couple of days. The anti-government protesters extended their protest camp yesterday to include an even larger section of the city. This has been met with increasing levels of military action aimed at containing the protesters. Generally, we've been able to carry on with our usual plans for the day, but last night we were unable to return home for several hours... Several protesters have been killed over the past few days and tensions are running very high.
Â
In spite of this, God has filled us with inner peace, and we are grateful for the ease at which we can enter into very deep conversations with people about their total well being as well as their trust in God. The deteriorating political situation seems to be driving most people to dig into deeper trenches of Islamic faith. However, a few people are becoming increasingly disillusioned with Islam and are willing to speak about it.
Â
We're not able to move about as freely as usual these days. Please pray that we can still maintain strong relationship networks and that we'll be able to show our love and concern for friends through phone calls and prayer. We'd appreciate you praying today for the hostilities to settle down and for both the Yemeni government and the opposition to resolve their differences via peaceful means. Mostly, pray that God will plant into the hearts of millions of Yemenis a desire for spiritual freedom in Christ that will far outshine the political freedoms they are seeking.

Two Arab Christians from different tribes and cities in Saudi Arabia are in contact over the internet and long to get married. But in order to do so they first need full permission from the woman's Muslim father. Humanly speaking, it will be very difficult for the couple to marry, but they have experienced miracles before.
Â
Please pray for protection over this couple and for the Lord to miraculously make a way for them to become a local believing family.

A young Iraqi man who visited our Maarifa website writes, 'Greetings in the name of the Lord. I would like to thank you for your interest in us and for what you’re offering on the site. I am a former Muslim but now a follower of Jesus Christ.'
Â
Praise the Lord for this testimony! Ask that this man's faith would grow deep and draw many others to Jesus.
