" Pray for the crown prince of Bahrain (Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa). May he realise that those demonstrating (mainly Shia Muslims) must be listened to and have a right to make their views known.
Pray that demonstrations would be peaceful on both sides and that human rights would not be violated.
Pray that the government would sit down and talk with opposition leaders to make compromise where needed.
If, as it seems, the presence of foreign troops is only causing more violent clashes, pray that the crown prince will ask them to leave.
Note: We try to avoid making political commentary, but this can be a fine line to tread when making reference to current affairs. Freedom to speak, think and believe what you choose is a human right, but it is not our place to say how that should look in an Arab context - though it would probably differ to a Western one. Above all, we want to see people's physical and spiritual needs met, and God glorified in every Arab nation.
