But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. (Galatians 4:4-5)
God’s timing is never accidental. Jesus was born at just the right time and in just the right place. It was no accident that his birth was in Bethlehem. It was no mistake that he came into the world in the most humble way. It was not a surprise (to God) that Joseph and Mary needed to take him to Egypt for his own protection. Many prophecies were fulfilled in all those details.
Two weeks ago, our team was reminded that the King of Kings continues to have perfect timing…
A Muslim man in the Gulf was feeling suicidal and in his despair gave God five hours to reveal himself. If he didn’t hear from God in that time, he vowed to kill himself.
The man went online and searched the web, coming across our ministry website. He wrote a message, asking for help.
While this was happening Mira*, one of our responders, was asleep. She was dreaming about a man who was going to kill himself. Upon waking, she went to check our response system and came across the Muslim man’s message. She responded immediately and ended up talking with him for a long time.
God used Mira to show this man that he is real and that he cares deeply. By the end of the conversation, the man had given his life to Christ. He is now being followed up.
Please join us as we celebrate God’s timing this Christmas. In the past month, we’ve had a record number of people give their lives to Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit is doing something incredible among the people of the Arab world, and we want to share this with you. We hope you will be encouraged to keep praying and giving to our ministry.
